We only burn her if we are going to freeze to death and we need the heat. I feel like we are going to need to work with this witch. Witches are always misunderstood or in need of something that makes them incomplete in some way.

The Witch is definitely getting something out of this. But what?

Okay, wild theory, if we are trying to find the Redcurves, we have talked about Dan or the other people in suits being a Redcurve, what if the WITCH is a Redcurve herself? And she is trying to find her people/family?

From the differences between the elites and the witch and from their view on her that we've seen in calls recently it almost seems like maybe they hired her or are just enlisting her help somehow to accomplish what they want, helping to bring the redcurves home. To me it does not seem like she is a part of them I think she is either a redcurve or just a chess piece for them.

Maybe they tried to get Jeff to kill the witch for $1000. Or perform some icky ritual with a child or homeless prostitute if they have those in KC

This line of thinking really makes sense..
Though maybe not as dark of a task they wanted done. A $1000 for THAT is kinda cheap, if these people are rich after all.

I talked to Dymuntz this evening.

Asked where to find the Redcurves, or if this was a collective balls-to-the-wall effort.

Said: "I'm pretty sure we've covered this babybell, you were literally screamed at by one. She was held upstairs"

I then asked if I could share and Dymuntz said it had already been shared.

Just wanted to put that out there in case this wasn't already common knowledge.

Also mentioned that she was gettin' her nails did an told me to fuck off :D

Someone that wasn't me mentioned something about how standing inside the salt circle pentagram protected us, and that anything outside of it was not protected.

Maybe the guy that forcefully shoved me in and out of the salt circle was trying to protect me.

Fat lot of good that did me tho cause the Witch dug her nails into my arms like meat hooks.

The circle thing was me and possibly some others. The “she was held upstairs” thing is sending me on one. If I spitball on my “eternal youth” theory - is that why there’s kids in the videos? Sacrificing youth would be more effective for an immortality ritual, I figure. And is “held” implying that the Witch isn’t necessarily there by her own free will, like she’s bound there to fuel a ritual? Maybe our Elites are brute-force tapping into some historical power from the Redcurves to execute their goals.

If this theory is true, it’s likely that neither us or The Elites understand what they’re dealing with.

Okay. The Redcurves do a haunt that isn't well known but is important somehow.

They lose control of the haunt because of the city (maybe something more sinister could be there?)

We can probably assume the witch was part of that old haunt. Maybe has always been a part of the family. Could be the scion, the matriarch or the family mystic.

Something happened at the old haunt. Some powerz some energy, some thing. And then it was gone.

Now an elite group turns a wheel and KC is chosen. They elites don't FEEL like the Redcurves to me, unless the family has always "held" the witch and the witch is not a member of the family. Otherwise, I think some external group either ran across the witch and learned what she can do or what is possible in the forest.

Now they have returned to KC and are using the witch. OH. OOH.

They are using the witch to find the necessary person/people to trigger whatever happened before again, now. The scene was a test or a crucible to seek the "right" one(s).

And they want locals because the bloodline of the Redcurves is strong and they are looking for long lost family members. (That is pure speculation but it feels possible.)

I’m what is called an eclectic witch so I borrow from a lot of different traditions. I don’t know what kind of witch she is, but we are always deeply aware of and connected to those who went before. I used the palo santo wood for purification and protection (kinda like people use white sage). The runes as sigils because there were runes on the chalkboard. I invoked Hecate mostly because she is the goddess of witchcraft and Wanda and I had talked so much about her. And 93 is what I talked about the other day: love and will.

Really intention is the key thing.

I’ll go back to the edge now. I just couldn’t sit by when there is a sister potentially in distress.
