I can't remember who brought it up but I think this is an important detail to highlight. It does seem like a clarifying quote that Dorothea truly does not care about skin color - then again that is just my interpretation and I'm glad to hear others.

Is everything between the Redcurves and the Elites just an act? Have they always been working together? Is that what Darren meant?

And if so, maybe we weren't actually witnesses and the contract wasn't between the Redcurves and the Elites, but between us and them.

I would not be surprised if all of the confusion is meant to get you to pick a side out of fatigue. Both in here and in real life, when people are pulling you all sorts of different directions it's pretty much impossible to appease everyone, especially if you have to withhold information/lie to someone to appease someone else. Ergo I would not be surprised if they are pulling you in several different directions to overwhelm you and get you to choose a side - whether that side be Darren and Morgan, the Redcurves, the Elites, some other group...etc. I do still feel as though the contract is super important and probably has a bunch of details in there that, if we get another opportunity, should seriously scrub through.

This is definitely a valid theory— especially when considering the photo thing. It did cross my mind as odd that she was one of my choices considering all of the other ones. It seemed obvious I wouldn’t pick her, which honestly made me feel really bad.

If I had the opportunity for a moment to think and wasn’t disoriented by the hood/heat/sweat combo, I might’ve taken her photo just to make her feel included. It’s something that’s honestly keeps popping up and bringing me some guilt. A missed opportunity for sure, but I was just so caught up in the moment and my photographer instincts kicked in, just trying to get the “best” shot to bring back to the group.

The only thing that makes me question if she’s Dymuntz is the fact that Dymuntz portrays herself here as being in power. She seems to be a level above opie and Lamia (I think?) but on that day, she was just simply driving us around without speaking. She even waited in the car while we went into the bar.

For the sake of info, she had red hair (didn’t seem like a natural red, but also I feel like all of the redheads are now blending together in my head and I can’t pinpoint shades lol) and she had a half sleeve on her right arm that looked like constellations and other space things.
