The Event is over, but questions remain: WHO THE EVER-LOVING-EFF is VS?

VS first showed up in a (now deleted) Instagram post from Darren Bousman, the caption telling Them to "...do better" We don't hear from or about VS until (???) time later, when Madelyn makes angry posts directed towards Darren, Dan, Morgan, and Stephanie. This time, we hear directly from VS, under the forum name "atavistic"

The definition of atavistic, from Google, is "relating to or characterized by reversion to something ancient or ancestral". Reversion = a return to previous state, practice, or belief.", or "happening because of a very old habit from a long time ago in human history, not because of a conscious decision or because it is necessary now" VS/atavistic was bigger than the Elites and the Redcurves, it was bigger than the actors, it was bigger than the Creators (one of The Creators thanked VS in an Instagram post which is why I mention it being bigger than them).

Perhaps VS/atavistic was an undiscovered path, but perhaps we'll never know. Such is the beauty of an event with unsolved mysteries.

There was a trail of breadcrumbs. I think it led somewhere we, as a group, didn’t have eyes on. Another social media platform that was overlooked perhaps. And yeah, that’s on us. Have I searched since and found nothing? Also… yes.

Will a part of me always wonder? Hell yes. I have Darren’s voice from outside of the Opulence tent playing in repeat in my head; needling at me that I, especially as an OG, could’ve dug deeper. But I got to be my authentic flawed self. I got to run around the woods as a witch. Not trying to save anyone but myself.

That’s what I take from this. Not my failure to “solve” everything. But my ability to be my real self.

So VS… hi. You were probably great. But I met a lot of amazing people in those woods. I would’ve found you if I was meant to. But I was meant to meet Dorothea and Lily and Maddy and the Witch. And I am at peace with that.
