I'm gonna spitball. Who are the three characters we know of (so far) that say "Blessings"? opulens, Dymuntz, and Lamia.
opulens and Dymuntz are, like, other consciousnesses residing in someone's body, right?
What about Lamia? Or maybe Lamia's different because she's an elite? Fuck it. How do the elites feel about opulens and Dymuntz? Are they worshipped and coveted? Or do the Elites have better things to be thinking about?

Looks like this might be a good thread for questions. Forgive me if there are answers to these questions somewhere, I'm a bit behind the curve compared to the rest of you.
Did anyone happen to catch a glimpse at the documents on the table outside of the Elites tent? I was told I couldn't read anything when signing but I purposefully went in last so I could thumb through them a bit. Curious if those have been explored in their entirety already?
What's up with the jug of milk? I kinda assumed it was just a personal choice on his part (can't remember names very well), but thought it was a funny little detail.
What does Darren have to do with what the Elites are doing with the opulence guests? He seemed to be somewhat in charge at points, coming in and out of the tent throughout the experience.
Molly mentioned something about teaching herself to climb through the trees, do the Redcurves have special powers from their forest shenanigans, or is she just really athletic?
Are the Redcurves incestuous? Didn't get a chance to ask Dorothea where/how the Redcurves find their partners, or if they included outsiders in their rituals.

I can help with some of these! The others can fill in the gasps.KCLocal wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 1:06 pm Looks like this might be a good thread for questions. Forgive me if there are answers to these questions somewhere, I'm a bit behind the curve compared to the rest of you.

Didn’t see the documents outside of the Elites table, as they didn’t allow anyone to really read it through at least in my group.
The man who had the jug of milk is “Dairy Man/Dairy King” as we coined him. The only information we ever got from him on why he consumes so much dairy is that “it’s an affliction.”
He used to not like the nickname but has come to accept it. He frequents the local Dairy Queen and also enjoys eating cottage cheese in the car.
While I don’t know the full extent of the Redcurves powers, I believe Molly is just very athletic.
In terms of Darren and the Elites, that may be potential spoiler territory…
Frank couldve been lying, but he did mention incest to me and Clara during our visit, and he was confusing certain members of his family on what they would be to him. Its kinda hard to take what some of them say at face value, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they truly were incestuous.

Disregard the discord thing. Best to keep it here in the forum. Wouldn’t let me edit my last post. Sorry-

So I took pictures of the contract outside the tent. I do not know if I can share them because I think that’s pretty event specific, unless opulens or dymuntz give me permission I’m staying away from that.KCLocal wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 1:06 pm Looks like this might be a good thread for questions. Milkman/Dairy King/Man With No Name/Mr. Milk! He just really likes dairy. I know why but again that’s potentially spoiler territory and I don’t wanna share because that is also something you can find for yourself unless I get permission….
So yes Darren is a co director but we’ve theorized a few times that he’s being held hostage or at least being threatened that if he doesn’t do his job and shut up that he is in danger.
Some of the redcurves have special powers that you can glean from them through conversation but also Molly is athletic. I skipped with her a few times!
From what I’ve spoken with the redcurves, at least Frank, there are some hints of incestuous relationships between males from what I’ve gathered.

Milkman seemed much friendlier than some of the other elites, he gave me a handful of milk which was nice.

I agree that Darren is painfully aware that he is powerless to stop us from participating in whatever horrors await.Notys wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 6:36 pm
DLB is not a friend in this experience.
In my opinion whatever is going on is metaphorically like one of those movies where when you watch the film, it causes something nefarious. DLB created the "film" - he's aware of what happens upon viewership. He's tried to warn us about it. Now there's the equivalent of a mass public viewing of this project. DLB has warned all of us. Warned many in person.
If it were bankers, it have never in my life heard of a bank getting involved in a gunfight over the property. It's more believed by me that was not anything with a bank loan.
The bankers didn’t participate, they (I’m assuming secretly) hired some muscle to get rid of squatters essentially.

Also, as this seems the best place and I don’t think it needs its own thread:
Lots of Lewis Carroll references to be found around Exiled. The forum is “The Rabbit Hole,” the podcast was titled “Through the Looking Glass.”
Probably nothing, as we’re all mad here…

Someone tied in -really- wanted that land. While it isn't unheard of to defend a homestead, I have never heard of an issue with a tenant/squatters resulting in a gun fight. Now we likely know there was a reason they defended the land. That in mind, it's hard to believe someone involved in that loan didnt know or discover what was on that land. They took it.PiaPol wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 2:10 pmI agree that Darren is painfully aware that he is powerless to stop us from participating in whatever horrors await.Notys wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 6:36 pm

tenants/squatters fighting over dominion resulting in a gun fight (especially in the good ol' US of A) isn't improbable in the slightest, but I understand where you're coming from with there may have been something valuable on that land. However, if someone tried to kick me out of my house for no good reason other than "i wanna make money", I would probably feel inclined to defend it as well. I'm not knocking down your theory that it may very well be possible there was something tangible that held value, like an item, or magic, etc. that meant something to them.Notys wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 9:38 pmSomeone tied in -really- wanted that land. Thank you, Opulens. You are absolutely correct. I appreciate your time. I respect you more than you know. Not a talent of mine to properly make a point in a concise manner, but I will try.
It could very well be a normal bank loan with someone like wells fargo. The redcurves could have just not had the money to pay. They could have went guns blazing, violently attacking the police who showed up to evict them. Perhaps the bankers knew nothing of the land when enforcing the loan.
Based on what I know of the redcurves it saddens me to believe that. It is far more comforting to believe that the redcurves may have been up against something other than "the man/corporation" or a large bank. Something like an individual or some group like the Elite whom tangled them into debt.
Oof. Reality is often the most uncomfortable thing to swallow.
