Could Madison had some family relationship with Dorothea and betrayed him be switching sides? This is why he could have been upset or emotional? Couldn't remember if I read this from you or Pias post.

i googled it and i'm basically a lawyer now. intentionally tricking someone into a deal or agreement by knowingly giving false information is considered fraudulent misrepresentation and could lead to the contract being canceled, restitution, and even fines.

That's human worries. Supernatural ones could be significantly worse. Souls lost damnation, bondage to otherworldly creatures, weirdly cannibalism again. Lots of possibilities.

Sounds like you had quite a romp in the woods! But you left out the most important part! Did you try the champagne yet? What was it? At least tell me you snapped a shot of the bottle and the lipstick note.

Signing a contract willingly and not reading it is just negligence on our parts, unfortunately.

They didn’t say “sign to bear witness” they just said “sign”

In the interim, we can focus on things we DID get noticed. Such as what Blondie pointed out: “We have lots of witches.” I’m sorry WHAT?

Do they need any more witches? I'm prepared to volunteer. And sacrifice myself if needbe. Just tell me where to sign (I'll be sure to read it before I do tho)

I did! I posted it on my Instagram story (its saved in my Exiled highlight), but I will need to include it in maybe another reel or something. Curious if Exiled will give me any little clips that they took for me to use in making one. 👀 I have a bunch of people that are interested in hearing my story!

Do you contract is just a ruse?Null and void. To make you think there are two factions when really they are all just one and trying to confuse us all so we can't point a finger at anyone should they be held accountable for any unlawfulness or bad doings involving witchcraft.

I’m interested in figuring out what led our two factions here to come to the table. Madison said they make agreements in “shadow and light,” almost like you have to accept a bit of both to meet in the middle. Do we think this was about the “land” ZipKC “stole” from the Redcurves, and some way they worked out to broker peace over that dispute?

It sure didn’t seem like anything was ultimately about the fate of The Witch or Cletums, that was just a bonus round.

I wonder if there would have been something in the contract about it. Would stand to reason.

Okay, a bit of pretty important information that I just remembered-

Whenever I was in the car with Madison, she would make little comments about how much she disliked Kansas. When we were sitting in the Dairy Queen parking lot after the bar, waiting on Milkman, she said "It should've been Rome," to which I replied (with the wheel in mind), "Why Kansas then? Was it just random?"

Her only reply was "Dorothea chose it."

This seems huge. If Dorothea chose it, what does that mean for the wheel and the leaked messages we saw previously? And if the Redcurves were a part of the decision making process, was the entire portion about not being able to find them all an act?

With what I just shared, this honestly has me thinking...

Is everything between the Redcurves and the Elites just an act? Have they always been working together? Is that what Darren meant?

And if so, maybe we weren't actually witnesses and the contract wasn't between the Redcurves and the Elites, but between us and them.

Ok you just jogged my memory. When Lily asked where I was from, after I responded I asked “you’re from around here, though, aren’t you?” And she just barely smiled and didn’t respond.

So are the Redcurves even from this area the haunt takes place?

Wait so this is actually crazy. Leaked texts definitely said “she said Kansas City,” but that might not mean anything, because the “she” in question could just be relaying the decision from Dorothea.

Yo what the fuck - has Dorothea been behind the curtain with the Elites this whole time? Are they trying to join up and they made an OFFER to the Elites for something in KC? That could explain the blood ritual or whatever Haley saw in the contract - maybe they don’t want their land back at all, they just want an in.

I kinda think some of the passages from the dictionary haley got may have implied this, but then red string 🤷🏼‍♀️

Madison blaming Dorothea for picking KC and DLB calling everything an act has sent my brain into wild theory territory. maybe this is all an elaborate game being played by the secret group from the leaked messages. perhaps they are some wealthy larpers who regularly get together, choose a location, create factions and characters for themselves, and then play out the scenario. but how harmful could larpers be? could be that these wealthy larpers are very committed to the bit and the swords aren't made of foam in this game.

That is a legitimately frightening possibility. The idea that Dorothea chose the location potentially readjusts everything we thought we knew and it absolutely COULD mean that the entire point of the meeting wasn't for them to sign...but for you two.

That could explain why Darren tried to get you two to look closer. It could explain a lot. And if any sort of magick influence was out upon you, that would make even more sense.

The legends of supernatural deals so often include the idea that humans are influenced in ways they don't recognize until it's too late. Everything from the stories of making deals with the devil (where the deal is never as good as it seemed) to fae (where deals often include giving up much more than you realized for much less than you thought) to even some stories of deities (where humans get promised something but only too late realize it wasn't what the expected.)

Maybe the two of you should really go back through what you saw with each other, moment by moment, and see if you can synthesize anything together by going A-Z. Maybe you can bring something more up.

As for the idea that they are LARPers, there are definitely LARPs that are much darker than sword-swinging LARPs. Vampires, werewolves, fae, witches. Demons. There are some VERY dark LARPs even amongst the normal kinds.

But it could also be that none of these are actually even humans at all. Maybe the LARP is that they PRETEND to be humans, creating factions, drawing humans in and playing with them before eating/corrupting/capturing/whatever them.

Maybe the LARP is that this is a human story at all. There are lots of faerie legends along these lines. Interdimensional creatures too.

And you know, maybe the clowns reference is because some people saw their original, real faces and assumed they were masks...when they were the real faces all along.

I don’t have too much to add besides the fact that this would make sense as to why everyone on both sides said to not trust the other. You (or we) shouldn’t trust ANY of them because it’s US against THEM.

aHHH There is soo much to go through!! First of all I am glad you are okay and I am sad you didn't get to meet opie or dymuntz.
How do you feel about this whole "team" thing?? Is there still a team and will the rest of be "assigned" as well... I wonder if it was your liking towards opie that you ended up with the elites or what reasons they are picking people for their side. If Darren wanted you to sign the contract in the bar then was upset about it in the woods, I wonder if they were putting on a show at the bar to save "face"? That whole interaction just feels like whiplash.

It makes me so sad that dorthea would just be willing to give up his own son like that. Even if he does mess up from time to time... he is just willing to bet his life so easily??? :(

ALSO THE EGGS?? HELLO??? IM SO CONFUSED.

Excited to see your pictures!!
