The Chalkboard

Back on March 23, Darren Lynn Bousman posted on IG:

The blurry chalkboard was seen again in the trailer, which dropped via both an article on Bloody Disgusting and an email, on May 28.

A small intrepid group of us spied runes and sigils and set about attempting to decipher the lesson, through a variety of screenshots and a lot of squinting.
After some trial and error, we came up with this solution:
Then, on June 26, we finally got a clear version of the image. For most, the drama was in the changing caption:

As you can see, there are a few differences but I think the solution is solid.
We didn’t really know what to do with it (and still don’t tbh). The words TORMENT (or TARMENT, lol) and ANGUISH have now appeared as ticket levels one and two. Logically, ANNIHILATION is the unnamed mysterious and terrifying level three.
I know some people wanted to discuss so go nuts.
