Okay, so there are a million ways to interpret "literally" in this sentence. Most of them are simple.

But I WANT to believe they mean it ... Literally.

Because that should scare anyone in KC. It scares me because a door that can "literally" no longer exist and can move could open anywhere at any time.

Which, come to think of it, matches some discussions that popped up several days ago about how the current location was "chosen."

The alternative take on this is that it's not like a portal that can transport people somewhere else, but that it's an actual doorway (or a metaphorical one) that serves as a portal into a ritual or rite of passage. Maybe something to prepare the KC folks for...whatever is coming next.

I found some connections between some of the research we were doing before and the event yesterday and the current silence period we seem to be in.

Like many secret societies, they hold initiation rites. Of which there are THREE levels. During the first one, the initiate takes this oath: "Are you willing to take upon yourself a solemn obligation to keep forever secret all that you may hear, see or be instructed in — an obligation that will in no way conflict with your creed or your conscience."

This was from the research on the Knights of Pythias that was done as part of the mystery box thread. Maybe part of the event was an initiation for them and if so they could have all been presented with a choice to take this oath, in this case it could be temporary or permanent who knows, but in any case we are witnessing the silence.

When I was looking more through the thread there were other similar mentions in the Sufism research as well that in reaching higher levels of initiation there is some amount of secrecy and more emphasis on fully believing in your teachers. Additionally in this research we talked about the story of Damon and Pythias https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damon_and_Pythias which in some interpretations is presented more as a test of two friends and in the story involves one being willing to sacrifice oneself in some way in order for both to be set free. Of course, right now we have no way of knowing what happened last night but the parallels are certainly there and the pairs of two going through the event could imply some version of this test being carried out.

This is a really good take. It is interesting to consider the period of silence we already got from Cammie too— why was she allowed to return, and why is she now silent again? Perhaps to try and recruit further? Maybe we didn’t push her enough to share… We all seemed to just accept that she didn’t have much to say regarding her “deletion.”

My last year has been about opening myself to a myriad of ideas I have been ... resistant to before. But now I really see that quantum mechanics and magic combine, that religion works for those who believe it BECAUSE they believe it. That perception is reality, LITERALLY.

I have begun to think that the farther we see with our technology, the farther back in time our perception is impacting and creating that reality. Perhaps we will one day find that the entire universe only came into being because we saw it.

Or perhaps not. But your open door feels very much like the way the last year has been...from my perception.

So I am trying to look at this from wider, different perceptions. And I ask again:

What have we missed? What do we need to SEE to perceive things as your group does?

Is that door a choice? Or is it the opening of knowledge one finds when stepping out of our normal, safe area of view?

I don't know what I don't know. That is the lesson for me in the last 18 months. Did I expect you to answer them? I didn't expect any outcome and allowed it to be what it would be.


Your group is cryptic. You ask if us but offer little clear in return, at least so far. You want attention and are opaque in what suffices. You get bored, you ask for more, you like creativity and free publicity.
